Mr. Twardowsky has spent years alone aboard a space station on the Moon. That's the price of a deal he once made with the Devil. Bored beyond endurance and unwilling to accept his fate, he seizes a final chance when the Devil appears in the form of a beautiful woman. Desperate for one last return to Earth, he pleads for more time. When he realizes no bargain is possible, he flees, knowing he can only postpone the inevitable.
